Hilda’s Secondary School has been inspired by its founder Archdeacon Graham
White who had the faith and vision to start a school for girls under the
leadership of the Anglican Diocese at Ceylon Road in 1934. It was known as St.
Hilda’s School. The school moved to its current location in Tampines in 1988.
It was then renamed St. Hilda’s Primary School and St. Hilda’s Secondary School
to better serve the nation in its growing education needs. The school admitted
its first batch of boys in 1989.
84 years of history is a testimony of God’s Faithfulness. As stewards in this
time and season, the school is adopting the theme “Leading Self and Empowering
Others” in 2018 to enable our students to live out the Hildan Distinctive
- Every Hildan a leader: confident, caring and disciplined - more
are committed to providing through education a balanced development of mind,
body and spirit for our pupils and nurture God-fearing citizens for our nation.
Through a quality school experience, every Hildan will be able to Go Forward
with confidence to lead purposeful lives and be a blessing to the nation and
